What’s in the Cabinets

Kitchen&Bath-How We Do Business-Image2

Designed Around the Project
Every Tonusa cabinet is designed and built to exacting specifications of the project. We work with your team closely to ensure nothing is left to chance. Our team first reviews the drawings and specifications in order to understand the requirements of the project. Depending on location and other factors, we may request several site inspections to verify conditions of the construction space. We then determine the specifications of the cabinetry including style, color, finish, build-material, hardware components and much more. Finally, we have our in-house team of designers and engineers design the cabinets and provide a computer-generated rendering of each unique kitchen and bath type for review.

Materials and Components-1-s

Materials and Components
We take quality very seriously and it shows in everything we do – from our pre-designed retail cabinets sold in quality retailers like Costco to our higher end contemporary wall-mounted vanities sold through our showroom partners in the continental U.S. We use only the wood and wood-based materials depending on your project’s needs. Our door and drawer fronts are made with American and Canadian maple wood as well as quality oak and birch. Only the finest plywood is used to build the cabinet box itself. Or if the specifications call for it, we can use premium grade E-1 (European-1 standard) engineered wood boards finished with high quality imported and local laminates and veneers. We also select top notch quality hardware for all our cabinetry such as DTC from China, Hettich International from Germany and BLUM from Austria.

Build Quality
In today’s increasingly competitive markets, efficiency is an absolute must to stay ahead. For Tonusa MFD, that means getting the cabinetry built well and built right the first time around. Our factories are quality certified and meets/exceeds local and international quality standards such as ISO9001 / ISO9002. Our production management team conducts multi-prong inspections at every stage including materials receiving, staging, pre-production, fabrication, finishing, assembly and packaging. We review every stage against project specifications and do a stringent final inspection before goods are approved for shipping. We warranty our cabinetry for a minimum of one year against manufacturer defect and have a fully dedicated customer support in the unlikely event an issue does occur.

Environmental Responsibility
Whenever possible, we use environmentally responsible stains, paints, adhesives and bonding agents to lessen our impact on the planet during manufacturing. Our solid wood cabinet lines are built with responsibly farmed hardwoods and softwoods and we use only water-based Sherman Williams® paints. We also have the ability to source FSC-certified wood materials to comply with LEED standards and we proudly manage the chain-of-custody process to ensure compliance with the standard is maintained.
